Marymoor RC Flying
Ahhh, the beautiful days of summer come slowly to an end and so do the long bright days of RC flying at the Marymoor Park at the North side of Lake Sammamish. The days are becoming shorter and the winds are picking up and making it harder on the young and more experienced pilots. RC flying is a great hobby for the young and experienced people. It promotes for the kids to learn about aerodynamics, engines, fuels and radio equipment, not to mention the great camaraderie among pilots on the flying field. I encourage you to come out on the sunny weekends to observe the flying activity and talk to the pilots and ask away any questions you might have. They are more than happy to talk to you and explain their hobby in greatest detail. These airplanes are very well built by juniors or experienced builders and some of them are great scale models of the real plane.
